Penn State ranks 2nd in the nation in plays per game, and Michigan’s defense clearly not what it once was giving up 36 points per game on the season, while scoring 30. Penn State is 0-5, and their defense has given up 30 points in every game this season, which I don’t anticipate will stop now, when they are 0-5 and have literally nothing to play for. This total has dropped 4 points since open, and the weather looks like it won’t be an issue at all. Penn State has struggled in the red zone this year on offense, but Michigan’s defense is allowing 81% of red zone trips to result in a TD.
