Last week we delivered yet again on the game of the week with LSU plus the points and we feel it will be no different this week in the PAC 12 showdown with national championship implications. We guarantee this play or 1 day is FREE BACKED by a full in depth analysis.

This line looks a little crazy doesn’t it? But wait a minute I’ll explain why it makes sense and why I’m on LA Tech here. First Miss is a very young team and LSU is on deck so I doubt they care much about a non conference game especially being out of bowl contention. LA Tech and Ole Miss played on the road vs. Fresno State this year so we can compare that game and one thing is obvious although both won, LA Tech played significantly better as they were +145 in total yards while Miss was +1, and they allowed Fresno to run for 3.7ypc while Miss allowed 4.5.
This is the same La Tech team that lost to Houston by 1, and to Southern Miss by 2. They also went on the road to Mississippi State and lost 20-26. More impressive has been their 3rd down defense. They’ve held opponents to 26.58% and against two tough opponents in Miss St and Southern Miss they held them combined 7-33 on third downs and that was on the road. LA Tech has a lot of speed and will give Miss 97th total defense some real issues on Saturday.

This is the big one Stanford vs. Oregon and again I’m going with the road dog the same as last week with LSU. Oregon fell behind early last year to Stanford, but in the grand scheme of things they dominated 3 of the 4 quarters and were able to run the ball. On paper it appears Stanford can stop the run, but last year they allowed 7.6 yards per carry as they could not contain Lamichael James. Oregon’s rushing offense is rushing for 6.75 yards per game on the road and allowing 2.77. Stanford holding opponents to just 3.51 yards per carry at home, but in their last 2 games vs. USC and Washington have allowed 6.43 ypc and 6.62 ypc and Washington is ranked 52nd, USC 61st while Oregon is ranked 5th.

Oregon’s only loss was vs. LSU and they have faced a much more challenging overall schedule which we’ll get to in a minute as far as defenses. Meanwhile Stanford struggled big time with USC in an impressive win, but Oregon is better than USC at this point especially on defense where they hold a considerable advantage in my opinion and they are coming on at the right time. Meanwhile STanford's health is going the other way. Both team have allowed just 4 sacks this year but a look at the schedule and Oregon has faced team's ranked 55th average combined in their 9 games while Stanford has faced only one team that can get to the QB and that's Colorado who they did struggle on 3rd down despite winning 41-7 they were just 40% on 3rd down conversions. Their average opponent is ranked 83rd.
