Tennessee is heading into a classic trap game against UAB after squandering a golden opportunity against Georgia last week. The Volunteers had the Bulldogs on the ropes but couldn't seal the deal, giving up a late touchdown and two-point conversion to tie things up, then botching a 43-yard field goal attempt as time expired before falling 44-41 in overtime.

 

Tennessee's defense is banged up, sidelined without key starters like nose guard Jaxson Moi and cornerbacks Rickey Gibson II and Jermod McCoy. That's why they've been leaky lately, surrendering 26 points and 377 yards to Syracuse, plus 44 points and 503 yards to Georgia.
