3unit play- Lannan did not look very good in his first start giving up 6ER in 3 innings in his first start, but I think he rebounds here today against a Brave club that he has favorable stats against.  The Braves are batting 45pts lower vs. LHP and their bullpen has balooned to have a 9.45era compared to Washington's 4.42.  Lannan last year was 2-1 vs. the Braves with 17IP and 7ER.  6 of those ER came in 4IP in a home start vs. the Braves meaning he was 2-0 13IP and 1ER in Atlanta last year.  I'll look for him to bounce back here.  On the other side we have another Japanise 33 year old making his MLB debut.  A lot of question marks here Kawakami had a 3.22era in Japan, but it has been said that he pitched in a pitchers park and he is suspectable to giving up Home Runs.  Look for Adam Dunn to go deep here.  The Nationals are not as bad as many are saying they have a pretty good lineup actually and they are not going 0-162.  They get their first win here tonight.
