Halladay is the man for today's job when the Blue Jays try to end their 8 game losing streak that has slipped them out of 1st place in the AL EAST. Halladay is 19-3 in his last 22 starts vs. the Orioles and the Blue Jays have beaten the Orioles 14 of the last 19 times. Halladay in his last 3 starts 23IP .78 whip/era. He is 4-0 on the road with a 1.50 ERA and 2.14 ERA during the day are better than his home/night pitching totals.

Rich Hill is on the mound on the other side. He has just 2 starts on the season he has a decent ERA but he has not lasted to the 6th inning yet. This will put stress on the Orioles bullpen that has a 6.66ERA over the last 3 games of those pitchers that are available tonight.

It is worth noting that while the blue Jays have struggled to score runs vs. RHP and LHP that they are hitting .316 vs. LHP last 5 and .292 last 10 scoring 2 runs/9 and 4.43 runs/9 both better than they are doing against RHP. On the otherside the Orioles struggle too hitting just .223 and scoring 3.41 R/9 innings last 10 games and they will go up against the best RHP in the game in my opinion!
