The Braves will look to bounce back from losing to Boston yet again here today. I think they will have a great chance to do it against Wakefield here today.

Wakefield will try to be the third pitcher to 10 wins, but I don't see a way he does it against an Atlanta team that hit Wakefield pretty well in Fenway. Wakefield did get the win, but he allowed 9 hits on his way and gave up 4ER over 6.2IP. Still I think he'll be worse today as he has not made the necessary adjustments facing teams for the second time this season. He's pitched two games vs. Indians and the Angels and both times he pitched significantly worse than he did in the first game. McClouth/McCann/Escobar/Prado were 6-12 while Chipper and Anderson and Kotchman have a healthy average with some pop off Wakefield. Fade Wakefield on the road as he has a 3-3 record with a 5.44 ERA.

As much as I like the Braves to beat up on Wakefield I like Vazquez to take advantage of the Red Sox. The Sox go as Youkilis and Bay go. The duo are 3/26 vs. Vazquez and remember Vazquez is pitching his best baseball 2.06ERA in his last 5 starts with not much to show for. He pitches well during the day and should throw a quality start out here is all he'll need to compete for the win!
