Padilla will make his second start this year against the Angels and he'll go up against a rookie on the other side in Sean O'Sullivan.

O'Sullivan will make his second career road start the first time he looked solid against a Giants club going 7 innings giving up 5H and 1ER. Rangers bats have struggled hitting just .219 last 5 vs. RHP. They have never seen O'Sullivan before and I like backing rookie pitchers where the other team has never faced them. In this situation O'Sullivan has looked solid and tonight I don't think he will have to pitch a gem to get a win.

Padilla on the other side of things has struggled vs. the Angels who as a complete team have a .320 average against. That is not even scratching the surface if you look at the core. Padilla is coming off an 8IP performance giving up just 3ER earlier this year, but the Angels were in a period of struggle and they left 7 men on base. They had 10 H that night and they did this all without Vlad's presence in the lineup. Vlad by the way owns a .391 average vs. Padilla on 18-46. Angels have also been on fire vs. RHP as of late 10.12 R/9 Last 5 games with a .295 average including scoring 11, 12, and 12 their last three times out vs. RHP.
