Normally I would fade the Twins in this situation, but Scot Baker has great numbers against the Royals and the Royals have really struggled of late. He actually had a no hitter going into the 7th inning against the Royals here this year. He however gave up 6H and 5 runs in the 7th and everything came apart. He will have revenge going against KC whom in his previous 6 starts had a 5-0 record and a 1.87 ERA. Baker has also pitched well as of late overall 3-0 with a 3.41ERA in his last 5 starts.

Bannister will go for the Royals and if you remember my plays against him in the past I pick my spots to fade and this is another one. While Bannister has solid numbers at Kaufman Stadium against the Twins the same is not true in his last three starts. I don't care where Bannister is pitching tonight the fact of the matter is he is an up and down pitcher that lacks consistency. The Twins aren't the terrible road team they once were! Now winning 8 of their last 13 road games. In Bannisters last three starts against Minnesota he has 13IP 13ER for a 9.00 ERA. Look for him to struggle tonight and for the Twins to get a solid match up out of Scott Baker.
