A tough loss with FSU not showing up yesterday, but today I feel confident taking The Citadel. This is the team that was lucky enough to face Davidson last year without Curry on the road as 14 point dogs still they won by 18 points and held Davidson to 25.4% from the field including 13% from beyond the arch. Now Davidson has some young talent and they are much more used to playing without Davidson and I predict that they will find their stuff by year's end, but this is a Citadel team that went 15-5 in conference play a year ago. They lost their best player in Demetrious Nelson, but added Washington Transfer Joe Wolfinger who has taken over nicely so far 14.7/7.4rbg. He's 7' tall and 255lbs and can be a force in the middle and on the perimeter. He hit 19 three point shots in his final year with Wash. They also return Jr. Guard Cameron Wells 15.6ppg and Coach Ed Conroy is stating, "This is by far our most veteran team returning." The line opened up wtih Davidson a full point favorites and like I expected the public hit it because of the brand Davidson. Many don't know about Citadel and they see small favorite Davidson and they jump. Citadel will continue to enjoy life without Curry as they roll here revenging their home loss to Davidson a year ago.
