Well last night I guess a little luck was on our side with our NBA POD as the Thunder +10.5 lost by 9 points getting us the win. We now move to Hope you have been enjoying the 70% run as I hope it continues here today with my conservative approach. I will guarantee this play or 2 Days NBA FREE.

Tonight going with the Spurs as the public is pounding the Suns not as much as I'd like to see or this would be a larger play. The Spurs have not shown their best basketball yet and I believe they are turning the corner here winning three in a row and playing very good games against two mile high clubs that are playing as good as any teams right now (Jazz/Nuggets).

Spurs have owned the Suns in the past and recent history they have won their last two meetings in Phoenix out right. Spurs are also on 1 day rest where they play their best basketball at 8-4 ATS. They score their second most points and 2nd best defense on 1 day rest. They will go against the Suns on 2 days rest. Spurs are 12-5-1 ATS in their last 18 games in Phoenix.

As I mentioned the Spurs are playing better as they are shooting 53.6 % from the field in their last 5 which is 5.6% higher than their season average. Particularly they are shooting well from the perimeter with 50.6%. The Suns on the other hand have not played as well of late as they have lost 5 of their last 7 and although they coming home I think the Spurs have just as good of an offense and a better defensive and rebounding team which I will explain in a moment.

Before I get to my last statement note that the Spurs are 3-1 SU and ATS against Top 10 paced teams. What I mean by that are teams that are ranked in the Top 10 in possessions per game. The Suns are one of those teams. The only team they lost to was the Nuggets who were losing to the Spurs all game long before pulling off the victory. I think the Spurs should be able to control this game.

Now to my previous statements yes the Spurs have the better rebounding team. They are #4 in rebound rate grabbing 52.4% of missed shots. While the Suns come in at #25 in the league with a rebound rate of 48.9%. Advantage goes to the Spurs in rebounds a critical part of the match up. We all know the Spurs are better defensively holding opponents to 9 points less on the season. Now I had mentioned that the Spurs are just as good offensively and while the Suns are a little better because they are #1 in the league in TS% which is (True Shooting Percentage calculates what a teams’s shooting percentage would be if we accounted for free throws and 3-pointers.) The Spurs come in right behind them at #4.

Add all that in with the fact that the Spurs are playing better currently and I like the Spurs to win this game out right.
