This is an easy play for me. The only thing keeping this from a rather large play are the injuries Fairfield continues to see. However with the injuries they still went into Siena as double digit dogs and lost by just 2 points. Now they get their chance at revenge against Rider on the road on Friday night. Rider beat them 88-80 in CT the first time around. For whatever reason Fairfield has been playing much better on the road. They are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 road games. They have already done the home loss to road revenge ATS before recently with Siena. In my opinion Rider won't be able to score that kind of way here tonight.. Some freakish things happened like them shooting 54% from the field when they average 41.6% in conference play and worse 38.7% at home. They shot 53.3% from three point land and they average 32.1% in the conference and 33.2% at home. They also shot 78.8% from the FT line where they had 15 more attempts and on the season they shoot 66.2% and 64.5% at home with just +.4 attempts over opponents. Add in that Faifield had -15 FTA and they only shot 50% when they average roughly 70% for the season and you have a nice revenge spot for the Stags here tonight.

Rider has home losses to Loyolla MD, St. Pete, Iona, and Lasalle. While Fairfield did not play La Salle and they lost on the road to Iona they beat St. Peters twice and they also beat Loyolla MD twice. Look for Fairfield to have the confidence and really step up their defense! According to their coach they have been working on it, "“I challenged my team this past week in practice. We’ve been absolutely atrocious on defense, and that’s all we talked about for the week. We knew coming in that we were playing a team that was playing really well. St. Peter’s likes to score in rhythms, and we did everything we could to take them out of those rhythms.”
