Santana has pitched excellent on the road and is 3-0 with a 1.14 WHP and 2.05 ERA in his last three starts. He'll go up against Luke Hochevar who has struggled most of the time in his young career, but he's 2-1 with a 3.86 ERA in his last three starts. He's coming off two outstanding starts against Cleveland and Texas going 9 and 8 IP, and I think he's due for a let down here against the Angels a team he got roughed up against in his only start last year at home giving up 7 ER on 9 hits through 3.2 innings. The Angels have started to hit the ball scoring 14 runs in their last two days.
LA is 8-0 in their last 8 vs. a starter with a WHIP greater than 1.30 and 40-17 in their last 57 vs. a losing team on the road. Royals have always struggled vs. the Angels as they are just 15-41 in their last 56.
