Yesterday was a little disappointing as I mentioned in my write up the only way we lose this game is if Cliff Lee throws a complete game. Well Lee threw a complete game to get over his 9.19 ERA in 6 career starts in Texas and we were on the losing end. However, we are still 10-3 in our last 13 MLB POD's and we'll look to continue our success here tonight. This play is guaranteed or 1 day is FREE, check out my NBA POD tonight too!

The Braves continue to play well and it has been behind Medlen as well as he's got a 2.70 ERA on the road including a start vs. the Diamondbacks giving up 1 ER over 6 innings. Diamondbacks continue to struggle and in their last 5 games have just a .202 average vs. RHP with 2.77 runs per 9 and a 6.08 bullpen ERA. The Braves over that span have a 1.42 bullpen ERA while hitting .285 and scoring 5.52 runs per 9. The Braves are 20-7 in their last 27 overall and 15-5 in their last 20 vs. a RH starter who they will face in Edwin Jackson.

Jackson is coming off a complete game shutout and all signs are pointing to him turning this around, but he has yet to pitch well at home and I think he really will have a let down after pitching so well in his last start. Jackson has a 5.44 ERA at home and he faces the Braves who are just hitting to well right now as they got weapons in that line up including the very talented left handed rookie Heyward. Arizona does not play well when they are under dogs including 15-40 in their last 55, and 9-24 in their last 33 as a home under dog. They are coming off a win, but they are just 10-22 in their last 32 following a win. The Braves have everything in this match up in my opinion they are the hotter team they have the better pitching (starter/bullpen) and have been more consistent with the bats.
