Jeff Niemann has struggled vs. the Jays in his career in his last 4 he has a 6.65 ERA and I think he's way far due for a bad start he's been really pitching over his head so far since returning. Nothing a day start won't do to bring him back to earth. Especially being on the road and start during the day on a Saturday. That's a recipe for disaster and the Rays have never faced Perez who has operated out of the bullpen normally, but has a 3.26 ERA this year. He's backed by a strong bullpen as the Jays have a 3.45 ERA at home out of the pen and the Rays have a 4.83 ERA on the road out of their bullpen.
