Loyola MD is just 5-6 on the road and in a similar spot on the road as a -7 favorite at Marist they lost outright. Sienna actually beat Marist on the road themselves. Loyola also will have Iona who is their main competition in the conference up next. The Dog is 17-5-1 ATS in the last 23 meetings and this is revenge for Siena after they lost on the road to Loyola where they were -17 FTA and -10 turnovers. Siena is +5 FTA at home and should not have as big of a deficit in turnovers while Loyola will likely struggle shooting as they are shooting just 38.9% on the road which includes 25% from three.
Judging by some of the lines the oddsmakers have made in similar opponents and in similar situations for these two Ivy League schools Vegas views Princeton as the better team. Both are the two best in the conference, but I'm leaning towards Princeton who plays better defense, has the better FT% team and better rebounding 128th in rebounding % to Harvards 180th rank. They also turn the ball over less and on the road their defense seems to improve where they are holding opponents to 41.6% and 30.4% from three. Princeton is 11-3 ATS in their last 14 Ivy League games, 44-22-1 ATS in their last 66 road games vs. a team with a win % at home > .600 while Harvard is just 1-9-1 ATS in their last 11 vs. Ivy and 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 Saturday games.
