Don’t forget that both of these schools were favored tow in their respective conferences (Big East/ ACC) and while Florida State is on its way to doing that after their victory over Clemson, South Florida has struggled. Florida State actually comes off a huge victory against Clemson and is in a huge potential let down or hangover spot against South Florida. South Florida has been victim of challenging scheduling after going to 2-0 in a big road win against Nevada at altitude they traded back home on short rest to play Rutgers and then they were on the road against an under rated Ball State team.

So I think we are getting a lot of value in this line on Saturday because of what I mentioned above. Not to mention that 72% of the public has pushed the line 2 points in my favor. I don’t think the oddsmakers were that far off on this line so I will take advantage of that. After all Florida State did struggle with Clemson and came out flat against arguably their biggest game of the year and they were at home trailing by 2 TD’s in the third quarter. Florida State has been victims of this spot in the past and everyone is saying this team is different, but are they? And is South Florida really this bad?

For the Bulls this game is huge they are finally on normal rest and scheduling after their odd schedule to start the season and this is the game many of their players circled. This is a veteran team with 17 starters returning led by 2 senior RB’s and QB BJ Daniels. Many of these guys were told they weren’t good enough to play for Florida State so these players should have a huge chip on their shoulders in this game hosting the #4 team in the nation. Florida State’s defense did not look elite last week at home against Tahj Boyd and they’ll have their hands full with BJ Daniels who is of the same mold. In fact HC Jimbo Fisher even said that Daniels had a better arm that Boyd and he’s got enough weapons around him in Andre Davis and Terreance Mitchell to give Florida State enough troubles. I think we will see a big effort out of this team on Saturday.
