This is the best defense Clemson has faced all year, and they have only faced 4 top 60 defenses and have struggled in each of those games going 2-2 never eclipsing 24 points.  Clemson also really has not faced a mobile QB, and their defense is down this year particularly in run defense where they rank 64th in ypc, and that's against an average opponent offense ranking 83rd.  They have also been prone to giving up explosive plays ranking 119th in the country, while South Carolina's offense ranks 28th in explosive offense.  South Carolina biggest issue has been turnovers, but they have only turned it over 6 times on the road.  South Carolina's 3rd ranked sack rate up against a banged up Clemson offensive line could be the difference here.
