Alabama has a top 25 defense against the run and pass. Kentucky has had some nice games, but against top 50 ypp defenses they are 0-3 with two losses at home and an average loss of 20.3 points per game, and 0-3 ATS. Alabama is surging at the right time in my opinion, and gaining confidence in their QB Milroe. I think they will continue to gain that momentum and impress the playoff committee here going up against a Kentucky offense that ranks 84th in success rate and outside the top 60 in both rushing and passing success rate. They rank 95th in third down offense, and I expect they’ll have some issues in this game against Alabama whether it’s Leary or whoever at QB. Leary really is not the type of QB that gives Alabama trouble.
