Clemson -10 3.3% play
73% of the money on the public dog here in Notre Dame who won outright as a 5.5 point dog last time out and are now getting 10.5 points. Clemson had a true freshman at QB making his first road start and although I don't know that Trevor Lawrence would have played better, DJ Uiagalelei 29-44, 439 yards, 2TD's and 0INT. I think the running game, and Lawrence being more mobile of the two will help the overall running game. I also think OC Tony Elliot has the edge in Game #2 against Notre Dame's DC Clark Lea who was just hired at Vanderbilt and trying to put together a staff.
Clemson defense, which played really poorly in that game agaisnt Notre Dame gets 3 defensive starters back who did not play in the game against Notre Dame including their leader Stalski. I respect the hell out of Ian Book and what he's done here, but Clemson DC Venables will have plenty of time to make the necessary adjustments and with the guys coming back I think Clemson's defense will get it done.
