Notre Dame’s defense, which is completely rebuilding hasn’t faced a top 50 of 75 offense, and Louisville will bring that this week. Florida State who runs similar concepts on offense had some success on the ground and through the air against Notre Dame and put up 26 points.
Louisville is a much better team than they have shown. They just need to eliminate the turnovers. Notre Dame’s defense has only forced 3 turnovers on the year. I think this game goes down the wire or if for some reason Notre Dame gets up 3 scores there will be plenty of back door potential especially with how fast Louisville can score their offense led by Micale Cunningham has offensive weapons at WR and RB with Atwell and Hawkins who could take it the distance on any play.
