Portland has beaten the Spurs and has been successful with or without Brandon Roy. Tonight we see an interesting situation as the Spurs come to town on 0 days rest while the Blazers also played late last night in Utah. The Spurs will return Tony Parker it looks like and that is the reason you see the line raising form -2 to 2.5, but I still don't think much of it as the Blazers beat the Spurs in San Antonio under that situation.
I'm just not buying into the Spurs they are never 100% healthy and their best years are behind them. This is a team with an aging roster and playing on 0 days rest is really not any kind of an advantage. The Blazers on the other hand are young and are 8-3 ATS on 0 days rest this season including 12-3 ATS in their last 15. Last night they did play at high elevation, but to be honest I'm not worrying about mainly because the Spurs had a fight on their hands last night when they visited the Kings.
Now Portland has a lot of room for improvement and they got a tough game on deck, but I really look for them to take care of the aging spurs tonight. They are 30-12 ATS in their last 42 as home dogs and 41-20 ATS in their last 61 as a dog between .5 and 4.5 points.
