The Wolves only lost by 8 on a road trip to Phoenix earlier in the year as +13 dogs. The Wovles are a much better team than they were then yet we get the same line. They also played without Kevin Love who will play today. Phoenix should be looking ahead to key conference games with other playoff contenders they are fighting with for home court advantage in Utah and the Portland Blazers.
The road team in this match up is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings. I really like the way Al Jefferson is starting to play as he has averaged a double double in his last 5 games. He hasn't played better than any other team in his career than the Suns. In his last 9 meetings with the Suns he's averaged 26.2/13.3 rebounds. I look for the Twolves to keep this game under control while the Suns look ahead starting in the 4th quarter when they have a comfortable lead.
The Grizzlies still in playoff hunt will have to make a major push the last few weeks of the season, but they have the talent to do it. Memphis catches the Bulls without their top 4 scorers on Tuesday. Thus the high line at -1. I think they can take advantage of this especially early, but then anything can happen. I really don't like backing teams as big favors, but I think there is a lot of value on the 1st half line. Keep in my Chicago as more than 10 point dogs this season are getting out scored by 19.7 ppg and trail by 10ppg at the half.
