I like the Braves here today as they send their young stud from a year ago Tommy Hanson to the mound to get some extra work. Hanson went 11-4 with a 2.89 ERA a year ago, and he has a 2.08 ERA this spring training with 4.1 IP. I look for him to be effective here today and for the Braves to continue hitting the ball like they have this spring training.
Andy Pettite, who had a 1.17 ERA last year in spring training makes first appearance, and Joba who has a lot to prove will follow. I like that duo over Joe Blanton followed by Jose Contreras. Contreras has been miserable this spring training and is a guy that really pitches well for a month or little less than two in the heat of the summer not in spring training. He's got an 11.57 ERA thus far and I think the Yankees jump on him and win the game.
