Both teams are playing bad basketball right now as the Nuggets losers of 4 of 5 and Mavericks losers of 4 of 7. I think the Nuggets has more to do with the talent they are facing, but the Mavericks have just played poorly and it's because Nowitzki has not scored more than 20 points in 4 straight games.

I think the Nuggets will have an excellent chance at winning this game out right. They played well @ Orlando yesterday without giving up too much energy. This is a very important game if they win the go back to the #2 spot. If they lose they get pushed back to #4 and could be tied for #5. The Jazz would have to win of course and that would give them a lead in the division. The Jazz play the Knicks tonight at home so they should win. Denver has to be nervous in this situation. I look for them to take control as they have always handled the Mavericks well. They are 19-7 ATS in their last 26 meetings and the Mavericks still continue to play poorly ATS at home going 4-26-1 ATS in their last 31 home games.
