Yesterday Halladay went the complete game but the offense for Philly did not show up. We are still on a 10-5 run on MLB POD and we return to action tonight with an under dog 4-Dime winner. It's guaranteed or you play for free in MLB on Thursday.

I like the Jays here as they are far more productive offensively than are the Mariners at this time. They'll start Cecil who struggled big time giving up 8 ER in his last start. With that said it was against the Rangers whom he has always struggled against. Cecil needs a quality start here to stay in the rotation as the Blue Jays young pitchers start to get healthy. He had a 2.61 ERA before his last 2 starts. The Blue Jays have a 13-6 away record this year and Seattle who struggles big time vs. LHP has never seen Cecil in their careers.

Seattle overall vs. LHP have a .228 average and 2.32 runs per 9 on the year. While Toronto who faces lefty Doug Fister have been killing the ball with a .325 average and 9.41 runs per 9 vs. RHP in their last 5 and have the advantage in offense in the home/away rankings. The bullpen for the Mariners has also been a concern as of late which is another brewing factor here as they have a 7.02 ERA in their last three games. Fister has been great this year, but he's going to struggle when he starts to pitch against the better hitting teams in the AL. He does not have blow you away type of stuff.

Mariners just 3-13 in their last 16 after allowing 5+ runs in previous game and 1-11 in their last 12 when their opponent scores 5+ runs in their last game. Blue Jays 10-4 in their last 14 road vs. RH starter and are 5-1 in Cecils L6 road starts.
