Grab tonights big play at 5dimes as it comes with a bonus too. I'm 8-1 in my last 9 MLB plays hitting again on the pod on Sunday moving to 5-0 last five

Love the Rangers despite them starting Rich Harden in his first start in almost a month.  Harden who has always struggled to get on the mound healthy will make his first start tonight and I believe he comes with good stuff he had 10 k’s in 6 IP while giving up just 1 ER in his rehab start and he goes against a Twins team he has had success against as they have just a .196 average in 51 AB.  Harden can strike you out and he will just have to get the ball to the bullpen with the lead which won’t be hard if the Rangers hit like they have been hitting.

Nick Blackburn comes up from the minors to pitch for an injured Kevin Slowey and he’s been awful this year especially on the road which is why he was sent to the minors rather than the bullpen in replace of Brian Duensing who took over his spot in the rotation.  Blackburn was 2-6 with a  10.18 ERA on the road this year and in his 2 starts vs. the Rangers in his career he’s given up 21 hits in just 12 IP.  Texas at home has a .300 average and 5.92 runs per 9 vs. RHP.  This is a tough ball park to pitch in for any pitcher.  Blackburn has one of the worst road ERA’s with the amount of starts on the road and I think his nightmare of a season continues tonight.

The Twins are 10-21 in their last 31 as a road dog.  Theya re 5-12 in their last 17 as dogs +110 to +150.  Blackburn is 9-24 in his last 33 road starts and 3-16 vs. a winning team as well as 1-9 in his last 10 vs. the AL West.  Texas on the other hand is 37-17 in their last 54 as a home favorite 6-0 in harden’s last 6 starts vs. the AL Central.

Many talk about Jimenez and Josh Johnson as the Cy Young candidates, but they must throw in Tim Hudson who anchors arguably the NL’s best starting rotation.  Hudson has a .78 ERA in his last 3 and has a 2.46 ERA on the road.  Atlanta in their last 10 games are hitting .281 with 6.95 runs per 9 vs. RHP, while the Rockies .226 2.48 runs per 9 vs. RHP.  Both bullpens have been superb as of late with Atlanta having the edge overall.  Atlanta is 47-19 in their last 66 as favorites and 40-17 as favs -110 to -150.  While Colorado is 1-8 in their last 9 vs. NL East and 5-14 in their last 19 vs. a RH starter.
