I love this match up as the Rockies have won 9 of their 11 wins vs. the Padres this year by more than 1 run. Padres still struggle with the bats even last night when they got 6 runs 3 of them were unearned. Rockies have hit Garland big time as Carlos Gonzalez is 9-15 and Helton 5-18. Troy Tulowitski has gotten hot at the right time and over their alst 10 games the Rockies are averaging 6.67 runs while the Padres just 2.62. Hammels last 3 starts vs. the Padres all wins by more than 1 run and Garland lost at Colorado by more than 1 ER earlier int he year giving up 4 ER in his start. I expect more of the same here tonight and I cant pass up this value.
