I like the Twins here with Duensing really being the guy that has turned the Twins season around as they have gone 40-15 in their last 55 overall games. Duensing turned starter has been great and has a 2.84 ERA away from home. He's got a 1.97 ERA at night and 4-2 in his night starts this year. Duensing has a 2.30 ERA over 3 starts in 2009 vs. the White Sox when he was a starter. It'll be his first start against them this year and the guys who he's struggled against in Alexei Ramirez and Beckham are hitting just .238 and .200 this month. Another guy in Carlos Quentin who has 2HR in 9 AB hasn't played in the last two games and even if he's in the line up i'm not confident in him. The Twins have just owned the White Sox going 20-6 in their last 26 and with that they have owned Gavin Floyd.

Twins post a .327 average vs. Floyd in 196 AB with a .893 ops. Kubel is 12-35 with 4 HR vs. him Span who has struggled this month broke out last month going 2-5 and is 12-24 vs. Floyd. This is bad news for the Sox who need a win. Many other hitters are over .300 including Hudson, Mauer and more. Floyd has given up 27 hits 9 walks in 17 IP over three starts vs. the Twins this year giving up 14 ER. In his only home start vs. the Twins he gave up 6 ER. His 1.66 WHIP over his last 3 starts is a real concern as Floyd is not a strike out type of guy. Twins face a white sox team that is hitting just .197 vs. LHP over their last 10 with just 4.15 runs overall while the Twins are at 5.90 overall and 5.82 vs. RHP. TWins are 23-8 in their last 31 vs. RH starter and 1-4 L5 vs. a LH starter. Floyd is 3-10 last 13 as a dog and the Twins are 10-1 when Duensing is a favorite.

Dodgers and the Giants have struggled to score runs with just 2.80 last 5 for hte Giants per 9 innings and 3.26 for the Dodgers. That may change for the Dodgers on Wednesday as they have a .319 average vs. Cain. Eitheir is hitting .500 in 38 AB whiel Loney 13-34 and Furcal 10-33 as well as Blake and Carrol all over .300 vs. Cain. Dodgers have struggled but if they can get Loney and Eithier going this may be the way.

Giants on the other hand have only 14 hits against Billingsley in 4 starts over 29.2 innings pitched. He's got a 0.60 ERA vs. them giving up just 2 ER. He's been solid with a 5-5 record away with a 3.16 ERA and has been able to be strong all season long where as last season he faded late. He's got a 1.29 WHIP and 3.26 ERA in his last three starts and I think he can keep the Giants under rap with a great chance to win the game in the end.
