We are now 6-4 after losing on back to back days, but I"m confident we are going to bounce back tonight and get a much needed win in MLB between the Phillies and Giants. It's guaranteed or tomorrow's full card including the NCAAF game will be FREE!

I'm on the same side as yesterday I believe in the Phillies they are a resiliant bunch and though the pitching match up seems to be tilted in favor of the Giants I think that is un true. Blanton overall yes shows a 5.47 ERA away, but he has 2.70 ERA in his last 3 game starts and his last 4 road starts overall he has a 2.31 ERA. Blanton got a late start to the year and he really came into his own late in the year which gives me confidence backing him.

Madison Bumgarner is an up and coming 21 year old star. However he struggled down the stretch. He had a 1-3 record 4.60 ERA at home giving up 56 hits in 45 innings. Though the Phillies have not faced him before they have been solid on the road vs. LHP and closed the year 22-5 overall in their last 27 road games. They did not hit yesterday and Hamels gave up some key runs, but I believe Blanton will have a good game against Wally Bell behind the plate who has called the 3rd highest % of strikes to balls at 64.3% Blanton averages less than 1 walk per 4 innings and should be able to keep guys off base. The Giants just a .237 average in 93 AB off him. Blanton also has the post season experience with a 3.89 ERA career in post season play. In his last two starts vs. the Giants he's given up just 4 ER in 13.1 IP while striking out 12.
