Yesterday was a frustrating day one that saw us win 4 and lose 4 games in college football. The big one was LSU and Northwestern's debacle which was a win before 5 broken tackle TD run by Michigan State in garbage time to cap off a 17 point defecit. But we finished the night strong with out right victories with Missouri +3 and Tulane +10! Other strong wins were Kent St and Navy yesterday so we are confident moving into NFL Sunday!

First of all if you are buying into a Redskins total defense ranked dead last you are not paying attention. Redskins have arguably the toughest schedule starting the year in terms of the offenses their defense have had to go against. They had the Packers, Cowboys, Colts, Texans, and the Eagles. Those are total offense ranks of 13, 2, 4, 5, and 3. With the Rams coming in at 20th as their other opponent. Hard for any defense to look good, but now they face Cutler and the Bears.

Cutler is a dynamic player if he wants to be, but he makes too many poor decisions and his offensive line is one of the worst in the NFL. He's been sacked 15 times in his last two games and I don't see them winning this game despite being at home. Their offenses doesn't do anything well ranked in the bottom third in every offensive statistical category including 29th in total offense, 22, 26 in pass/run offense and 22nd in points scored. Now they do have a solid defense especially against the run, but they are 18th vs. the pass the strength of an improving passing game from McNabb that's already ranked 9th. McNabb gets better every week and the running game has started to click a little with Ryan Torrain who knows Shanahan's offense being able to put up some big numbers. At the end of the day this will be a low scoring defensive game and I trust McNabb over Cutler to not make mistakes.
