I’ll keep it short and sweet no matter how long I give you an analysis it hasn’t paid off this bowl season. Bad luck and bad performances have played a factor but this is a long haul and I’ll be back in 2011 no matter what happens to finish this bowl season with huge profits in college football.

TX A&M are 2-11 in their last 13 bowl games and the big 12 is 1-6 vs. SEC in their last 7 bowl games and just 13-27 over their last 40 bowl games vs. non-conference schools.. To me it’s a joke that they are considered one of the best football conferences. A&M lost to Georgia 44-20 a year ago in their bowl game and although this is an even bigger test for them and means more to them I still think they come up short against arguably the best defense they have seen. Yes they saw Nebraska, but Nebraska a Big 12 team didn’t even look good in their Pac-10 match up. Nebraska held A&M at home to 9 points. So I’m confident you’ll see their WR weapon Jeff Fuller struggle against a top 10 NFL pick Patrick Peterson at corner. He’s a physical corner and will get up in his face on the line that’s the kind of corner that gives fuller problems. A&M can also run the ball though and I think you’ll see a huge game out of Drake Nevis at DL as A&M’s head coach Mike Sherman already called him the best DL in the country.

LSU has too much speed for A&M to really run on them. On the other side LSU’s offense has sputtered all year. They have the 31st run offense and mobile QB’s that can pick up yards have given A&M fits. Jordan Jefferson is that and I expect a smartly planned game plan with him getting 50+ yards rushing here tonight. The other way I see LSU getting points is on special teams. This is where they will have the field tilted in their direction all night. A&M has struggled to find a consistent punting game averaging just over 36 yards per punt combined with not a lot of hang time either. They’ll be kicking to the best player in this game in Peterson who averaged 16 yards per kick and took 2 back for TD’s. Don’t be surprised if he doesn’t get loose to make an impact play in what should be a game played in the teens to 20’s.
