Monroe may be 1-9 on the road but they are making progress. Ark St is nothing special to deserve being double digit favorites. Part of that is Monroe -16.8ppg away, but a lot of that comes from big lopsided losses. Ark State is -4.1 ppg in conference play vs. Monroe's -9.6. Overall both teams have streaky offenses and Monroe is playing better as of late while Ark State is off two of their most embarrassing losses.
Iona is one of the favorites to win the conference and they barely hung on vs. Rider on the road earlier this year and both teams are close in conference play, but Iona is a -8 favorite and I'm buying in. They are shooting over 50% at home and Rider played the game of their lives the last time these two met and still lost as they were +6 rebounds, 53.7% from the floot including 50% from 3. I don't see that happening again on the road. Rider just beat Siena matching that output in their second road game vs. Iona with an extra day of rest will be tough. Expect another big game from Iona's Mike Glover who is just a double double machine as he had 24 pts and 17 rebounds last time these two met.
