Yankees -138 4.5* MLB POD
Can’t help but back the Yankees after seeing this stat.  The Yankees are 39-13 in their last 52 game 3’s after losing the 1st 2 games of the series.  It’s very hard to get swept and Beckett really hasn’t had much luck at this new stadium although he’s pitching lights out this year.  Yankees in 3 starts in 2010 at Yankee stadium roughed him up over 16 IP he allowed 23 hits and 7 walks and 15 ER.  Teixera will be back in the line up and the Yankees turn to their ace to stop the bleeding.  Sabathia 26-7 in his last 33 home starts and 50-17 in his last 67 overall.  Yankees have a lot of experience going up against Beckett and they have a lot of experience in winning these type of games.

COL/LAD U8 runs 3* bonus
Kind of weird seeing the pitching change and Clayton Kershaw who has thrown great this year and has a 2.66 ERA over his last 7 starts be an under dog.  Kershaw faces a Rockies team that is scoring just 2.1 runs per 9 over their last 10 games.  Tulowitzki has really struggled to hit at home and he and Cargo are a combined 8 for 44 vs. Kershaw good for a .182 average combined.  Rockies send their top prospect ot he mound in Nicasio and I think the Dodgers are in trouble and this should be a close low scoring game.  Nicasio in his debut threw 7 shut out innings against the best hitting team in the national league the Cardinals.  Dodgers are 24th with a .678 OPS vs. RHP and they too struggle to put up runs.  Both teams bullpens are pitching extremely well over the last 10 games with ERA’s under 2.50.  Dodgers are under the total 17-8 in Kershaw’s last 25 starts vs. the NL west.  And the Rockies are 11-3 on the under in their last 14 facing a LH starter.

Mariners +179 2* dog of the day play
Can’t go wrong with the Mariners value they start a pitcher that has been consistent with a 3.29 overall ERA.  He’s held Tiger hitters in 3 starts to a combined .597 OPS.  Mariners are also 4-0 in their last 4 starts at Detroit outscoring the Tigers 32-7 so I expect them to be in this game the entire time.  Verlander is 2-6 with a 4.20 ERA in his last 8 starts vs. the Mariners and Seattle is scoring over 5 runs per 9 innings vs. RHP over their last 10 games so I do not think we can go wrong backing these type of odds.
