Luck is part of betting and that's something we have been extremely unfortunate with. WE hope that does turn around soon as a 6-1 CArdinals lead was blown as well as a Brewers lead after Gallardo pitched a gem. Tonight we have a lot of plays and we look to rebound from a disappointing night.

Love the Tigers in this one. First of Fausto Carmona is down on his velocity and has been falling apart. He's got a 6.64 ERA on the road this year and he faces a Detroit team that is hot right now with the bats. They are averaging 5.5 runs per game over their last 10 overall and are 10-2 in their last 12 games vs. a RH starter. Penny takes the mound for the Tigers and has pitched great at home with a 2.83 ERA. Most of the Indians lineup hasn't seen him they have 88 AB 63 have come from Orlando Cabrera and they have a collective .193 average against him. Love the Tigers to stay hot here they are 20-7 in their last 27 home meetings with the INdians.

Becket vs. Hellickson this one I edge towards Beckett though he can have problems in TB he's pitched extremely well right now and the Red Sox are just too hot. Hellickson is getting lucky in my opinion when you look at his raw stats including his trending ERA which is well over a run difference from his actual ERA. That xFIP of 4.41 really makes me wonder as he's been lucky with a .231 BABIP and his 6K/9 and 3.61 BB/9 does not look right for his actual ERA. Red Sox are averaging over 8 runs in their last 10 games overall while the Rays score just 3.24 at home vs. RHP this year.

IT's hard to sweep a double header. Marlins have hit Halladay int he past and their bats are starting to come around as of late. Sanchez has been remarkable this year with an ERA under 3.00 on the road. Think there is just way too much value here especially since the Marlins have the better bullpen..
