We are off a big Saturday in college football that I saw happening long ago, but we look to get focused on the NFL here with a big Sunday starting with this two play package in the early going guaranteed to go 2-0!

The Chargers have been in every game they have played this year and their 4-6 record is not indicative of how they have performed... or may it is since they have found ways to lose. However, I'm backing them because there is plenty of value fading the Chiefs. I still maintain that the Chiefs have been the luckiest team this year and at one point faced 5 back up QB's in a row. They have been helped by the best average field position in the game and now have to face an actual offense for the second week in a row.

I agree the Chiefs defense is loaded and a top 5 group especially at home, but their offense is not good at all. The Chargers can actually convert third downs on the road and are ranked 3rd in the league behind the resurgence of Phillip Rivers who is helped by Ryan Mathews who is finally performing. The Chargers have won 9 of the last 11 and I can't help but think the Chiefs are looking ahead to next week's rematch with the Broncos.

The Browns are undefeated at home when they don't start Brandon Weeden and they will stay that way this week. The Steelers are just 1-4 on the road and 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 road games vs. a losing team. The Steelers have a one dimensional offense and a defense that does not travel well. The Browns defense is emerging as a top group and they have a shut down corner in Joe Haden that will give Big Ben issues finding his receivers. Cleveland played better than their 20-41 loss indicated a week ago and actually had a 13 point lead at one point, but turning the ball over 4 times did not help.

This is basically a playoff elimination game and I think Clevelands ability to stop the run will give them a win here. The Steelers are 3-12 ATS in their last 15 when they don't rush for more than 75 yards. The Browns are 3rd in run defense allowing only 3.5 ypc and Pittsburgh is 29th in rushing offense. Cleveland's offense has more weapons with Chris Obignaya playing well to go along with Josh Gordon and Jordan Cameron.
