The Orioles offense is off to a slow start, but so is the Rays and I think coming home to Camden will only help Baltimore as they get ready to face Chirs Archer. Archer had two decent starts both at home against Baltimore last year posting 11.1 IP with 11 base runners and 5 ER. The issue with Archer is he can't get LHB's out .816 OPS last year compared with a .450 OPS vs. RHBs. The Orioles will send the majority of their hitters up there has left handed batters and they will be looking at a lot of fast balls as Archer throws nearly 70% of his pitches as fast balls. The O's ranked 7th in the league vs. the fast ball last year and I think there is a lot of value on them in this spot considering their offense is due to wake up. Wei-Yin Chen has 8 starts against the Rays and has produced a 3.04 ERA. The Rays are hitting .179 and scoring just 2.81 runs per 9 vs. LHP and rank 26th in OPS vs. LHP. The Rays bullpen also struggling on the road with a 5.19 ERA. Take the Orioles you won't see them as a pk'm often at home with this pitching match up we see today.
