This play to me is a no brainer.. We do not necessarily have an edge on the mound today.. I like Joe Kelly a lot, but he can not go deep into games and he often finds himself in trouble, but gets out of it. He's got good numbers against the Brewers who are struggling big time over their last 5 .176 average and 2.16 runs per 9 vs. RHP and they have struggled at home big time scoring just 2.12 runs per 9 overall. The Cardinals on the other hand continue to hit and carry a .307 average over their last 5 with 6.94 runs per 9 vs. RHP in their last 5 games.

Kelly has held the Brewers to a .273 average and .654 OPS in 88 AB and has two quality starts at Miller Park. Willy Peralta has not pitched well at all vs. the Cardinals relentless offense. IN 4 starts last year he had a 7.71 ERA and a 1.95 WHIP. In 65 AB they have a .369 average and a .923 OPS. The Cardinals ownt he Brewers 35-16 in their last 51 and are favorites here today and I'll back them.
