Best Pick

Buffalo +14.5 was our 4.4% POD, and it easily cashed over Temple as Buffalo defeated Temple 38-22, covering the spread by 30 points.  Buffalo dominated on defense forcing 4 turnovers, and holding Temple to 289 yards, 2 for 16 on third down.

 Worst Pick

This one is easy.  Michigan +3.5. I don’t think I have seen a team come out flatter in a big game than Michigan.  At this point I don’t know if they are just not recruiting the right guys, or developing the right guys, but it’s pretty bad how this team is and Jim Harbough is one of the most over rated coaches.  Michigan dominated at the line of scrimmage as Wisconsins RB Johnathan Taylor did whatever he wanted.

Bad Beat of the week

I’m waiting for the week we don’t have a bad beat, but this is easily Houston +5.  They covered the spread the entire game. blown 21 point lead 2 missed field goals, and a dropped TD that would have won the game, then they give up a trick play as Tulane was looking like they were going to kneel it out, but didn’t.  Kind of cheap there, but I can’t say I blame them. Then Tulane threw a 20 yard pass to get into field goal range, but it was like 4 missed tackles and the receiver got into the end zone with a TD and a 1 point ATS loss for us.  Houston is definitely a fade team from here on our. I don’t know if I fade them this week the line moved 8 points as Deriq King announced he’s red shirting and transferring. That’s a big red flag for me, and I can’t blame King. I can’t wait to see where he ends up…. Probably Oklahoma.

The bet I regret not making

Louisiana Lafayette, I had it as a possible money line dog play over Ohio, and I decided not to play it, because I thought maybe Ohio at home, a well coached team could limit a one dimensional attack.  Even if Lafayette’s rushing attack, is elite. Lafayette dominated from the start as they averaged 6.2 yards per carry. They were also fortunate to recover 4 of the 5 fumbles in the game, and pick off Nathan Rourke 3 times as they went on to win 45-25.
