Duke / Notre Dame U53.5 2.2% play

I believe this game gets slowed down quite a bit for a few different reasons.  Duke's head coach David Cutcliffe will take over play calling duties and he's been adamant about getting back to running the ball, playing Duke football.  They also bring in Chase Brice to play QB from Clemson, and I think that fits the game plan here.  Duke's defensive strengths align with defending big plays and the pass as they have a couple of guys returning on the defensive line and the secondary could be the best in the ACC, but their weakness is size up the middle, which Notre Dame should take advantage of.

Notre Dame breaking in a new OC for the first time.  Tommy Rees, the ex Notre Dame QB, took over late last year and showed that he preferred to run the ball over pass, and it would make a lot of sense to do that here.  Especially since Notre Dame brings back their OL, and lost their top RB, top 2 WR, and top TE.  Ian Book returns at QB, but I think Duke can scheme up a game plan.  They did just play last year, losing 38-7, to keep this under the total.
