This is one of the more important games for LA Tech early in the season and they have a lot of revenge going into this game after losing at home 28-13 last year. Tech is a completely different team thus far they feature Iowa transfer QB Cody Sokol who does not make mistakes and Manny Diaz at defensive coordintor who has implemented his aggressive style of play and so far it's looking good. This team held Oklahoma to less than 200 yards rushing and held them to 5-13 on third down which was quite the achievement and then last week on the road as a double digit dog against an in state rival with 8 returning starters including a dynamic senior QB they held to 7 points through 3 quarters before finishing the victory off at 48-20 covering the spread by 44 points. In last year's game they went up 10-0 on the Mean Green, but it was turnovers that cost them the game as they were -2 in the game, but North Texas no longer has their senior QB and are completely one dimensional.

North Texas has thrown the ball with their starting QB only 23 times in two games and he has 0 TD and 2 interceptions. The Mean Green do have a fantastic running tandem, but if LA Tech can hold up against the likes of Oklahoma on the road defending the run I'm thinking they can here. I just think this LA Tech team is better than last year while North Texas blew out SMU last week it was largely due to the fact that they forced 5 turnovers. Tech has been taking care of the ball so far this season and if they do that tonight it won't take much offense to outscore North Texas.
