Going with Missouri here today for Bowling Green going on the road back to back games they looked good last week against Troy as 7 point dogs, but here they are in a mis-match out of conference against Missouri.
Tyler Sheehan for BG was the story as he threw for 339 yards and heâll have to repeat that against Missouri who shut down a solid Illinois offense to a meager 325 yards. Bowling Green wonât get much running room and this one so it will have to be all about Sheehan as Iâm confident Missouri can put up the points with their sophomore QB Blaine Gabbert who is predicted to be even better than Chase McDaniel. Although nobody expected that to happen this early he sure did look good last week going 25-33 and passing for 319 yards and 3TDâs along with rushing for 39 in his first start. Heâs got an arm that translates to the next level and he can move around and make big plays. Let's not forget that Bowling Green is still young and with a new coaching staff there is much to figure out.
