This one has all the talent and excitement you would want on a Thursday night game.  Two good QBs and two next level receivers lead the spot light with WR Justin Blackmon on Oklahoma State’s side and Juron Criner is a real talent.  This is a repeat of last year’s Alamo Bowl where Arizona will be revenging a 36-10 defeat.  If you look closer at this game you’ll realize it was a lot closer.  For one thing Arizona held Oklahoma State to it’s season low 312 yards total, but literally handed Oklahoma State a 21-0 early lead into the 2nd quarter as they muffed a punt, gave up a 71 yard TD pass on a blown coverage and a pick 6 from Foles.  I do not expect the same start from Foles who completed 81% of his passes a week ago while spreading it out.  They had a -4 turnover margin and lost 36-10.  I expect them to be in this game into the 4th quarter with a chance to win.  Oklahoma State’s defense is suspect returning just 5 starters and they did have the 115th ranked pass defense last year.  They gave up 34 points in the opener to ULLAF as Weeden did throw 3 interceptions.  Without Dana Holgorssen at offensive coordinator the Cowboys still put up 666 yards, but turned the ball over something they wouldn’t have done  a year ago.  Arizona has already stated their secondary will play more aggressive tonight and I think it could lead to an early lead.  Arizona will pass a lot because their run blocking scheme just is not that good, but they should have no trouble doing so and the pass should set up the run for later in the game.
