Don't miss out on tonight's College football play of the
Day guaranteed or one day is free! We are on quite the run 15-2 in our last 17 ncaaf picks!

Revenge is a beautiful thing and that’s what this Bearcats team will get tonight at home when NC State visits with a national audience watching.  NC State behind Rusell Wilson beat Cinci at home last year 30-19 and it was not that close.  This year the Bearcats hope to return the favor and I believe they will.  First things first the biggest thing this team had to correct a year ago was ability to force turnovers and ability to not turn the ball over.  Over their first three games it appears they have fixed that with a TO margin that leads the country.  They’ll face a Sr. QB in Mike Glennon who looks good, but before this year only had 52 attempts.  He’s completing 70% but he’s faced two FCS opponents and a Wake Forest defense that was 11th in the ACC in pass coverage allowing 29 TD’s.  So he has  yet to face a quality defense and the Bearcats return more starters than any other team in the country on defense with 15 players returning who started last year.  Their front 7 is as solid as any in the Big East and NC State will not be able to get a balanced attack with the running game so much of the pressure will be on the secondary where there is an open competition.  Point is most of this defense remembers getting beat last year and I think they rally together tonight to come up with a big game while the offense does its thing.

Bigger advantage here is Cinci’s offense because they have a trio in Collaros, Isaiah Pead and DJ Woods at WR that can all play at the next level.  They played a tough opponent in Tennessee two weeks ago where Pead ripped 155 yards on 14 carries, Woods caught 9 for 111 yards and the offense did not turn the ball over.  Meanwhile NC State lost on the road to Wake Forest the worst team a year ago.  Wake was 11th in total yards and scoring in the ACC last year but they hung 34 points on NC ST.  Reasoning is this team has lost 7 of their top 15 defenders since August.  They have a make shift defense that’s struggling big time and they face their stiffest test tonight and the Bearcats will show no mercy after losing a year ago.  I expect this offense to be ready to go against the Maryland defense they should be able to run and pass and I don’t see them punting much here tonight.
