Do not miss out on our college early play on Saturday we are on fire for college football and this play is backed by a full in depth analysis.

Love Tulsa here you can say arguably they are the better team as their 3 losses were to Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Boise state in the beginning of the year. Tulsa actually won at Houston last year , but they’ll have more of a challenge despite being at home facing the nation’s #1 defense scoring 53 points a game. Houston seems to struggle when they do not have a balanced attack and guess what Tulsa is allowing just 3.24 yard per carry at home. Tulsa offensively rushing 5.27 ypc at home while Houston’s defense is allowing 4.38 yards per carry and Houston’s defense has not faced an offense as good as Tulsa in quite some time. Tulsa has been good running and passing and they pose a more physical type offense than Houston is accustomed to . I expect the RB’s of Tulsa Trey Watts and jaterian Douglas to have big games and really wear down the Houston defense that has not had to really defense both the pass and run and Tulsa offense is 38th vs. the pass 23rd running the ball. The next closest team to Tulsa as far as talent was LA Tech and Houston only beat them by 1 point 34 to 35.

Tulsa have scored 59 and 57 the last two weeks and if Houston wants a shoot out Tulsa is very capable of matching them blow for blow. Tulsa’s defense can also get off the field holding opponents to 40% on the year despite all the great offensive teams they faced in the early going. In conference play they allow just 35% conversions. Houston’s offense has benefitted by facing not so good 3rd down defenses and now they go on the road to face a very good Tulsa 3rd down defense that should be able to get off the field on 3rd down. Houston is 8-21 ATS in their last 29 road games vs. a team with a winning record and are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as a .5 to 3 point favorite while Tulsa is 16-5 ATS in their last 21 and 13-3 ATS in their last 16 home games vs. a team with a winning record. This is a huge game for Tulsa and their home crowd she be pumped, RB Trey Watts quoted, “Houston has been on our mind because we know that’s the road to the conference championship. We know it’s a big game. It’s senior night and a lot of our guys will be playing with emotion. We just have to keep our heads up and focused.”
