To me this game is all about the run as neither team can pass the ball ranking 103rd and 96th in passing offense. Both teams are in the 40's ranked in scoring offense, but the defenses are also in the top 40. South Carolina can be run on a bit, but they're better than Nebraska as they have allowed 3.68 ypc on year compared to the 4.08 that Nebraska runs. Both pass defenses are ranked in the top 20 so you know this game will turn over to the rushing offenses keeping this a fast paced game. Give any defense time to prepare against Nebraska and they are going to have problems. They literally can't throw a lick, and only scored 7 points vs. Washington in last year's bowl game. South Carolina is used to run first offenses and will be able to keep Burkhead/Martinez in check while I like how South Carolina's QB Connor Shaw looked down the stretch completting 65.5% of his passes 12 TD and 6 interceptions and don't forget the talent he has on the outside in Alshon Jeffery. That should be the difference when it's all said and done this game goes under the total and South Carolina wins a nail biter.
