Nebraska is coming off a tough loss to Northwestern and they really need to go on a run if they have hopes of getting into the tourney. They have the ability for sure as they had one of the Big Ten's best defenses. Now they face a Minnesota team that would most likely rather be somewhere else especially with home games coming up vs. Wisconsin and Ohio State on their home court back to back. They are also terrible on the road 14-29-1 ATS in their last 44 and 11-25 ATS in their last 35 on Sundays.

Nebraska has to get back to defense. Minnesota lacks a dominant scorer which should bode well for the Huskers here today whose defense has been slacking the last few games, but overall still among the best in the conference. Their offense has also picked up of late and they even beat Indiana at home so beating Minnesota should be something they are capable of. I expect them to do a few things well here today. Rebound, get to the FT line more and play better perimeter defense. In their last game they did none of these allowing Northwestern to get to the FT line 20 more times and shoot from the perimeter. Nebraska on the season is allowing 30.6% from three while the conference average is just under 35%. The Gophers also allow opponents to get to the FT line 4.4 more times than them in conference play, advantage Nebraska especially with home court.
